Ahead of the upcoming election, we lay out how the next UK Government could build a trade system which works for people and the planet.
Trade rules have played a fundamental role in shaping the UK, its economy, and how it engages with the world. As we approach the 2024 General Election, TJM is asking all political parties to ensure UK trade policy supports a transition to a greener and fairer economic model which protects human rights and promotes climate justice.

Trade policy has a significant role to play in tackling the climate crisis, supporting international development and upholding labour rights in the UK and overseas.
