Radiohead have supported the Trade Justice cause for many years. They led the biggest ever Mass Lobby of the British Parliament in June 2002. The following year they backed Scale up for Trade Justice, a national action to lobby all the UK’s 659 MPs in their local constituencies. Our movement wanted, as guitarist Ed O’Brien put it, “to make sure every MP got a clear message that British voters want the rules on international trade rewritten to make world trade work for the whole world”.
This year frontman Thom Yorke come along to Wake Up to Trade Justice:
"I've been to many demos but Wake Up to Trade Justice was by far the coolest."
