Trade Justice Movement Board of Directors

The governing body of the Trade Justice Movement is the Board of Directors, elected annually from and by the membership. 

Each Trade Justice Movement member organisation is entitled to nominate one candidate to stand for election at the Annual General Meeting. In each election, every member has one vote. 

The Trade Justice Movement is governed by a Board that is elected each year by the members.

The current Board members are:

Meredith Alexander, Head of Corporates and Trade Team, ActionAid ( TJM chair)

Chris Hegarty, Advocacy Manager of the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF)

Asad Rehman, Head of International Climate, Friends of the Earth (FoE)

Penny Veness, Economic and Social Development adviser, Soroptimist International

Simeon Mitchell, Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Campaigning, Methodist Relief & Development Fund (MRDF)

The Board have also coopted the following until the 2010 April AGM:

Toby Quantrill, Head of Policy, Fairtrade Foundation

Christina Weller, CAFOD

Ruth Tanner, Head of Campaigns and Policy, War on Want

The Chair of the Board is Meredith Alexander.
